As a high school student in Thunder Bay, Rachel trained hard to excel as a track athlete, often ignoring pain. But after competing at the Youth Olympic Games in 2010, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic connective tissue disease. This unexpected news turned her plans for sports upside down. Despite the onset of mobility issues, Rachel created a new plan for her life. See how this determined 25 year-old woman developed a whole new path – as a runway fashion model.
